Bodily Injury and Property Damage Liability pays for property damage and/or injuries to another person caused by an accident which you're at fault for. It does not offer coverage to you or your property. You are legally required to carry Liability Insurance in South Carolina and North Carolina if you own a vehicle.

Comprehensive coverage helps repair or replace your vehicle (minus the deductible) after something other than a collision with another car; like deer, theft, or vandalism. It is an optional coverage (unless you are making payments on a vehicle), but since these situations can happen to anyone it's recommended.

Collision coverage helps repair or replace your vehicle (minus the deductible) if it's damaged in an accident with another vehicle or object, such as a fence or a tree. It is an optional coverage (unless you are making payments on a vehicle), but since these situations can happen to anyone it's recommended.
